Shortcut keys on a Mac are really handy, here are a few for your reference:
- To copy a selection of text hold down the CMD key and press C
- To paste your selection of text hold down the CMD key and press V
- To quit a program hold down the CMD key and press Q
- To scroll through open applications hold down the Shift & CMD keys then press the tab key
- CTRL F3 moves focus to the dock
- Option CMD Eject puts the computer to sleep
- Command S saves the current document
- Command C closes the current document
